Selecting the appropriate rug size is essential for enhancing the aesthetics and functionality of your space. Below is a comprehensive guide to assist you in choosing the ideal rug dimensions for various rooms in your home.
Living Room
Large Living Rooms
For expansive spaces, choose rugs around 250 × 350 cm or 300 × 400 cm. These generous sizes allow all furniture legs to rest comfortably on the rug, creating a cohesive and anchored look.
Medium Living Rooms
A 200 × 300 cm rug (also close to 200 × 290 cm or 200 × 280 cm) works beautifully in most medium-sized living rooms. Place the front legs of sofas and chairs on the rug to unify the seating arrangement.
